Travel has always played a key role in supporting biodiversity, conservation, and sustainable development for the Achuar indigenous communities of the lower Pastaza river basin in Ecuador’s Amazon Rainforest. It is the reason why Kapawi Ecolodge was created in the first place.
As of September, 19th Ecuador has opened its borders to international visitors, and all nationalities are welcome. Kapawi Ecolodge is part of this organized and safe reopening, and this is why we are excited to announce that we will restart operations in December 2020. We are working with all of our partners in Ecuador to ensure a safe and private travel experience of Ecuador and the Amazon Rainforest.
We have established several departure dates for our 3-, 4-, and 7-night programs starting on December 26th, 27th, 30th, and January 2nd and 6th. We are offering special family and group discounts for these dates. We are also offering special early bird discounts for 2021 travel programs.
We are following Ecuador and the World Tourism Organization’s guidelines for our safe reopening. Please review our biosafety protocols here: https://7jsykxzn.paperform.co/

Don’t miss this opportunity to travel safely to our isolated rainforest setting, while directly supporting the sustainable development of an indigenous ecotourism enterprise and the preservation of the Amazon Rainforest.
On behalf of the whole team at Kapawi, we can’t wait to see you!
